Devil me on left shoulder: Chuck it all. Again. Go write another book
Me: No. I like not being broke. And you look ridiculous in a red bodysuit, by the way.
D.m.o.l.s: Come on. You know you want to
Me: Shut up. I like all the stuff I’m doing
D.m.etc: Really?
Me: Go away
Angel me on right shoulder: Well done. See, this way youre being practical and doing work you like.
Me: Why are you in drag?
A.m.o.r.s: Thats a question you should ask yourself, really
Me: Bugger off
uh-oh. 🙂
May the devil win…Amen!
Samit – I just finished Simoqin Prophecies – picked it up at a Barnes and Noble in Rochester NY on a whim and read page 117 (The infamous pg 117 test – open a book to a random page, read it, see if you want to keep reading). Pg 117 in this edition was engaging enough to get me going. I for one would love to read more of your writing. I loved Simoqin – very fun, fresh and enjoyable. I’m sure my wife and son will like them too now that I’ve gotten to the end. My wife kept nudging me in bed for laughing while reading 😉
