Just back from a long-needed and wonderful holiday – London, Paris and Cambridge revisited, much happiness happinessed. Also feeling several degrees cooler because I got to hang out with the supremely gifted and astonishingly nice Mike Carey at the Angel (John Constantine’s bar) and talk about comics, life and other such things. How I got to know Mike in the first place is still, alas, covered by confidentiality clauses, but more on this when the solicits are out. Also got to see Tall Tales issues #3 – #5, which I didn’t have, at Forbidden Planet in London. I should put them up on the recently released section on this site, but am feeling too lazy at this point. Oh, and Scholastic’s new Witches and Wizards anthology has a story by me in it. Will link to that too at some point. Maybe when I take off the 3-D glasses that came with the Black Dossier. Bwahaha.
Going on holiday is supposed to reinvigorate your work. This doesn’t seem to have worked for me; all I want to do now is take off again. I-don’t-feel-like-writing writer’s block is not as bad as I-don’t-have-any-ideas writer’s block, but it’s just as effective. There’s so much to do, so much to learn, so many places to go. Ok, I’m tired already. I think I’ll go play video games or something now.

u blend things in a really attractive way….n u kno….ur works are not completely original are they???i mean,u draw inspiration from lotsa other buks,epics n even movies…thats the best part in u actually…i can relate lotsa other stuff wit ur work…n u make it so transparent that i cant help but love them….(n i m not accusin u of plagiarism,in case i sounded so.)
