But there were lots of other questions too, serious questions (not that these arent, but questions I was better able to answer) and I had a lovely time, and would love to do this again. Don’t miss the rest of the series. I believe they have Danish Husain on tomorrow, and he the man, that Dan.

Update: If you’re here, hang on; inevitable tech buggerups are happening, and we will be with you soon, inshallah.

IBNLive.com is doing this interesting thing with me tomorrow – the beginning of this series they’ll be running for the next two weeks. Basically, I turn up at 3 pm tomorrow on their site and if you’re there too, we chat. The topic at present is SF, India and Fantasy – but feel free to discuss none of these. This is the link, will update if it changes.

Also, I note they have (at present, so go look before they change it) Indrajit Hazra’s picture up there at present instead of mine, along with the bum of Clifford the Big Red Dog, from the Superhero launch picture on this page, four posts down. Please note I haven’t asked them to do this. But Indi is better looking than I am, so this is probably a good thing.

  1. have you seen Guillermo del Toro’s ‘Pan’s Laybrinth’? you might like it.
set in franco’s spain, it’s both nightmarish and beautiful at the same time, and brings two parallel worlds -one brutally real, and the other fantastically surreal, to well-defined perfection.

  3. Now its Indrajit Hazra’s turn to get shocked! It’s your pic in the Ibnlive’s Freedom Chat with Indrajit Hazra. By the way, they could have used your wikipedia pic.

  4. No no, that’s Indi. Did they really have my picture up there before?

    Posted by samit | August 7, 2007, 2:32 pm
  5. Er no. They did ask I Hazra if it would be a wise idea to use Samit’s pic… and I Hazra, gentleman that he is, agreed too. However, since S Basu and I Hazra are already being considered twins-separated-at-birth (yes, shocking!), the website decided to use I Hazra’s clifford-the-bum-pic.
