26

was the number of ad people in my house at 2am on Republic Day – i suspect i was the only one feeling even mildly patriotic. hilarious time, though – all 26 told me how they were following their dreams, and one asked me if i did my own creatives when i wrote. when i responded wittily (huh?) he explained – do you ideate (huh?) yourself or are you given a brief and screenplay? i told him i was the concept man, and the initial presentation giver – and that after i laid down the law, i had a brainstorming session with my carefully assembled team (culled with precision from focus groups from my TA) and they did the actual production.

other stuff happened. we taped rudra addressing the youth of the nation in his Nehru jacked at about 6. in the process, we gained a lot too – a fully stocked bar, and someone forgot a microwave.

wednesday night – do at shobitas. much fun, much quaffing. much brandishing of boots, breakage of glasses, and narration of the mystic tale of ashaan bibi, deity of the forest.

ranas launch is today.

  1. See you at the launch. Will have to bunk Weekend production midway to make it in time for the discussion.

  2. So does the He-Man in the picture look like Sunil Shetty or doesn’t he? Calcuttans, enjoy the rain today!
