Just answered the following questions for Today newspaper

1) What is your favourite party outfit?

2) What is your party no-no?

3) Who is the most interesting person you’ve ever met at a party?

I am filled with joy, because no one has ever asked me these questions before. Unfortunately, the only reason i got asked these questions was that i knew the questioner and she desperately needed people to ask these questions. Also, since i did know her, i couldnt say many things i might have been tempted to. As it turned out, my answers were neither original nor interesting. However, Radhika Jha and Indrajit Hazra will also be asked the same questions shortly, so in my way I have done my little all to bring Indian writers out of their shells. Too bad Sarnath isnt here – I would have loved to know what his favourite party outfit was.

Still, people are by and large impressionable, so i hope that somewhere in the wilds of Delhi there is one dedicated today reader who will decide to make me his or her party guide. then i will have struck a blow for non-partygoers everywhere, too.

i need to reread my book one last time and submit it. i cant look at it now, for some reason, but that has to change.
