you're reading...

One of those terrible days when you have no deadlines, and are expected to do lots of work on your own, to further long-term career goals and suchlike. Predictably, have done nothing. Have excuses; visitors morning and evening, and trying to figure out Sims 2. Its 7 now, and am expecting the ex-outlook bratpack over, so can safely say no work will be done today.
Jai visited yesterday, and revealed some rather disturbing news; some corporate filter software used by a number of organizations in India have his blog, and Amit Varma’s on a blacklist of sorts – if you try to read them from offices using this software – im not being discreet, ive forgotten the name – they say you cant open this site, because of its pornographic content, or words to that effect. This is ridiculous, and I hope both the gentlemen in question can do something about it.
In irrelevant news, Ray is wonderful (Charles, not just Satyajit, as I explained to JAS) and Sideways is nice, but disappointing after all the hype. Watched that prince of intellectual movies, Toy Story 2, today, and am heading towards seeing PArty, starring Peter Sellers, at some point soon.
Oh, and Shalinee from college is getting married, so congratulate her and everything if you know her.
