Red Herd

Chatting with a friend who works in advertising in Bombay and handles the Red Bull account. energy drinks, or whatever. Suddenly remembered seeing ads on Bangladesh TV for a Danish brand called Red Cow. Powdered milk and other dairy products, I think, though all i really remember is the cows face, and the nice moo at the end of each ad.

ngaaaa, it went.

wondering if all this means something. Gender politics even within the Red Bovines? is there a red calf somewhere? i looked, but found only ads for socks and suchlike things.

Even hungrier, and now wondering whether this post was worth the pangs.

  1. Interesting observation! You are a Sensitized Indian Male.

  2. Powedered milk and cows! Reminds me of a particular powder milk brand, called Nido, that aunts/uncles from abroad would bring to India. It tasted quite awful with coffee, but yum by itself.

  3. I just realized that ‘Abroad’ has not generated any substance as delicious as Milkmaid in India.
