Just saw the artwork for the new Simoqin cover, which I think should be a definite improvement. Chewing nails off in anticipation of Manticore cover.

cant you provide a link to the new cover? Or is that copyrighted or something?
Samit, I guess your website has been hijacked. But how?
wish i knew 😦
LINK PLEASE! WHAT ABOUT MANTICORE COVER?
Does this mean those of us who already have the book should buy it again for the spiffy new cover?
PS: not sure if i should put it up at this point, since its not complete. will put it up once i see it with titles and everything.
aishwarya: 🙂 dont know if it will be THAT spiffy. but you should definitely buy the book again, many times.
I like the old cover quite a bit, and hope the new one is even better :D.
Anyways, whats the site hijacking thing? Are they talking about this blog, or you got a personal website? If you havent, i think its high time you had samitbasu.in. I checked, its available. And in case you are not too tech savvy(which i doubt, i think you are) I can help you out. first buy the domain name(600rs/year), and then setup the site. and from that site you can link to your blog. Its very easy and not at all expensive. You can check out tanveer.in for a very basic site set up in 10 minutes :D.

What hijacking? I haven’t had any problems visiting your blog… its the same whether i click on a link, or type the address myself.
BTW, there’s another Samit Basu, who has his own webpage. Check out http://www.ifp.uiuc.edu/~sk-basu/
Otherwise the only place to go is this blog. And it has nothing wrong with it.
Hmm there is nothing wrong with a blog, but i guess an author of this genre should have a website. lets say somebody just heard of samit basu, that person will first try samitbasu.com or samitbasu.in, rather than duckofdestiny.blogspot.com.
umm, this comment is utterly irrelevant o your post actually, just wanted to say shubho bijoya 🙂
Totally irrelevant, but still:
tanveer – its samitbasu.blogspot.com , and most people have heard of Google! Thats how I found his blog, months before I started blogging myself! But you’re right. Samit should have a website.
samit – shubho bijoya!
