slow meme from Bridalbeer. Who says
A delayed confession:-
And,
Pass it on to just one other blogger
Given that all she’s given us is that she’s never read Ayn Rand (I havent either. Ditto for Paulo Coelho) I dont feel the need to break any drastic wind, but here goes.
I get a lot of mileage out of telling people I never did any of that tuition/coaching shit in school/college, but thats a lie. I used to do maths classes in college, though i swear i just went to play footsie, and I joined an IIT-type chemistry coaching thing for three weeks in Class XI because my parents wanted me to. I left because the guy was talking about cleavage reactions (organic chem) and no one except me thought it was funny. Also because I had no intention of ever taking the IIT exam.
OK, so that wasnt interesting, but its done. Who do I pass this to who might actually do it? Sending it to the Compulsive Confessor makes no sense, because she does it every day.
Buchu, I think.
LOL. I used to pride myself for never having taking any tuitions etc. (none at all, really :)) but now looking back it all seems really silly anyway.
Posted by Kafka on the Shore | June 25, 2005, 3:39 pmcleavage reactions…LOL!! i was aghast when they first taught me that, hell but now i know better.
Posted by Acroyali | June 25, 2005, 6:42 pmi used to like organic chem.
damn, i’m weird.
;D
Posted by Teleute | June 26, 2005, 7:14 amAgree with Kafka. Was proud of never having to take tuitions my whole life. Wonder where I would have been if I had?

Anyway I’ll get to the point. We (me and a 4 other friends) are setting up a contributing writer fuelled website a la salon+mcsweeny’s+slate+wired. Was wondering if you can contribute an article on a weekly basis. I know you’re rather busy with all your work but a weekly column….If you think its cool to talk further the mail me at mithunk@gmail.com.
Posted by imhunt | June 28, 2005, 8:57 amTuitions were just a big joke. I used to go, probably study less than i did if i was at home, faff with friends and come back home, feeling like i had been very productive.
Posted by Rat | June 28, 2005, 12:20 pm1st time here!! tuitions in India are more popular than colleges.. or say junior colleges.. many attend tutions and consider its a waste to attend school.. I attended both thgh
Posted by Vivhyd | June 28, 2005, 6:45 pmyou want to confess THAT?? You thinks that’s shameful??? Here’s my confession – I went to every single tuition and coaching class you can imagine. Hindi & Marathi tuitions in school. class 10 coaching classes. Math in class 11 and 12. CAT (I took Arts os obviously there was no coaching class there!).
And no I haven’t read Ayn Rand either. Actually I started reading, but as Alice said “Waht is a book without any paragraphs” so i gave up..
n!
samit, your bong comix are hilarious!
