Not the right time

to approach anyone for a film deal, methinks. Writers and filmmakers havent been getting on too well. There was the whole Vidhu Vinod Chopra wanting to beat up Suketu Mehta thing some time back, and now Ashok Banker thinks Mahesh Bhatt was his long-lost sibling’s daddy.

  1. Well, rumour has it that Ram Gopal Varma is willing to shell out a lakh for anyone who can give him a decent script.

  2. Ironic. He’s got no dirth of acting talent lining outside his office, but he’s interested in screenwriters.
He should just go watch some scorcese films and get the guy who directed black friday to write the dialogue.
Imagine the hindi version of Gangs of New York.
Better yet, Ramu should get into the zombie genre. And have top talent from Bollywood play themselves. Zing!
